A Trip to Cork

4487878090 B69411C79D B

I know I live in Dublin but it doesn't always feel like Ireland to me. The country-side feels like Ireland to me - green fields, sheep, castles, etc. So, every now and then we grab the fam, squeeze into a car and jet off somewhere over the weekend. Cork is a personal favorite and we had a mission. Hailey was trying to convince us that there was a cable car linking the mainland to an island at the end of one of the peninsulas in Cork. Nobody believed her. In fact, I haven't met another Irish person who knows about this cable car either.

It is there. We found it.

Check out the photos for proof.
